A 3-year-old Valley boy who died of a grade 4 neuroblastoma in 2011 after battling the disease for 8 months has inspired the writing of "Ronan," a Taylor Swift song. It has been released during a telethon to raise funds to battle this devastating disease.
Swift wrote the song after reading a blog written by the boy's mother, Maya Thompson. According to the Associated Press&Reuters, Thompson is credited as a co-writer.
The song is available on Bandcamp, with proceeds going to cancer-related charities.
I'd like to support to this great cause. You can decide how much this cover is worth to you but bear in mind that all proceeds will be going to the Ronan Thompson Foundation and StandUp2Cancer.
